Chris Hodgson Engineering prides itself on offering a design, manufacturing and build service from start to finish, using its own dedicated and skilled employees.

It is a family run business that has been established since 1978 when it started in a corner of a field near Winkleigh in Devon, where Chris Hodgson built his first workshop and employed just two people.

Enduring all the ups and downs of farming over the years, the business now has more than 50 employees designing, manufacturing and installing buildings to a large agricultural, commercial and industrial client base across the South West of England.

The workshop fabrication team are highly skilled and experienced welding and fabrication operatives, fully CE coded and all the in house fabrication work carried out by them is to Execution Class 2 Standard.

Chris added: “Our own lorries and cranes will deliver and erect your building with a minimum of disruption to your working day and we use all the necessary health and safety equipment to ensure that your site stays safe.

“Our multi-skilled staff, erect our steel framed buildings across the breadth of the South West. They are qualified in all aspects of site work including site preparation, steel erecting, roofing, cladding and power-float flooring, they are also CPCS or similarly certified in all mechanical operations.”
