Chris Hodgson Engineering prides itself on untypically offering a design, manufacturing and build service from start to finish using its own dedicated and skilled employees.

It is a family run business that has been established since 1978 when it started in a corner of a field near Winkleigh, where Chris Hodgson built his first workshop and employed just two people.

Now with over 50 employees designing, manufacturing and installing buildings to a large commercial, industrial and agricultural client base across the South West of England, the diversity of the projects it handles are endless, from a simple 30’ x 60′ to individual project requirements such as a complete £1.5 million re-development.

Our skilled and experienced draughtsmen in our design facility are using cutting edge 3D design software that integrates seamlessly with systems used by engineers and architects and produces undoubtedly the best design solutions for any type of building project.

This design process also optimises our in-house fabrication unit, enabling us to produce an end product of superior quality.

Our contracts manager oversees our own in-house building team and the benefit to you is improved service and better building control.
