Established in 1892, HAMBLYS is still a family owned business, with a long-established name for quality products and excellent service. Since 2003, the firms' coverage has expanded to include the Cornwall, Devon, West Somerset and Dorset. “Our aim is to have all depots operating from purpose built modern premises by 2009”, says MD John Barrett. Over the last 5-years, HAMBLYS have started investing in the long-term future, with the acquisition of the Honiton business and a newly built Bishops Lydeard Depot in Somerset. This growth has brought about many changes within the company. “We are always searching for new ways to improve our business” says Steve Barrett (Commercial Manager, Director).

Staff training is also an important part of modern machinery retail, to ensure the highest level of customer support. At HAMBLYS, engineers are encouraged to maximise their potential with industry leading training. The companies aim is to provide the best service in the industry - all year round – but especially during peak harvest season where every hour counts.

The sales team are professionally trained to assist customers to make informed investment decisions and help them purchase the best machine for the job. The parts team have years of experience and the support of substantial parts inventory at each of HAMBLYS 5 depots.
