The QMD/14H is the largest model in Marshall’s dumper range and is designed to take on the largest and most difficult jobs.
It has an 8mm floor and 6mm sides, which provide an extremely robust body that can cope with carrying rocks and other heavy loads that could potentially damage a lighter trailer.
The high-sided design means it has a very generous cubic capacity, improving its operating efficiency.
The numerous bearers and spacers further enhance the rigidity and strength of the body; preventing premature cracking or twisting under heavy loads.
The tipping points on the QMD/14H are 50mm thick and have grease points to provide unmatched toughness and durability.
This model also benefits from a standard hydraulic door, that when open provides a full 5′ of clearance to allow a safe discharges of loads.
The hydraulic door rams are also protected by guards, stopping debris from damaging them when loading.
The QMD/14H utilises the unique designed Marshall chassis that provides the perfect blend of flex and strength. It is formed by welding a 6mm plate over a heavy-duty channel, which is immensely strong but allows the chassis to flex when placed under severe stress.
This chassis design combined with twin two stage rams provides an extremely stable platform when tipping a load, and allowing the QMD/14H to have a high 64 degree tipping angle.
The chassis also integrates mudguards, which permits safe clean movements when traveling on the road.
This model is fitted with tandem axles, enabling the customer to choose whether they would prefers spring or oscillating split tandem axle suspension as a no cost option.
The QMD/14H uses an 8 stud axle with impressive standard 350 x 90 brakes that guarantees safe braking.
On top of this all dumpers are fitted with lights and hydraulic brakes as standard ensuring that they meet all health and safety regulations.
Finally the QMD/14 also benefits from a standard spring drawbar to improve efficiency and practicality.
The spring drawbar provides a significantly smoother ride when travelling at higher speeds. The QMD/14H is Marshall’s flagship dumper for a reason, its incredibly tough construction and build ensures it can handle any job customers face.
