Does AgriculturalTrader.co.uk stock items for sale?

No. This site is a platform for traders and private sellers to advertise their goods. You will need to contact the advertiser directly through the contact forms on the site.

I have enquired about an advert but had no reply?

Some advertisers, particularly private sellers will only check their email occasionally. Please remember that they may be on holiday or at work and will get back to you when they can. If you haven’t received a reply within a reasonable time please contact us and we will try and help. My detailed search has brought up no results. New adverts are being added to the site all the time, save your search and you can request an email alert if a new advert is added that matches your criteria.

Login and Registration Issues

Why can't I log in?

Have you registered? You must register in order to log in to the site. If you have registered and still cannot log in then check you have entered your username and password correctly. Make sure there are no spaces before or after your email address or password. If you have forgotten your password, please use the ‘forgotten password’ link and your password will be emailed to you.

Do I need to register?

You don’t have to register to search but if you want to save searches, contact an advertiser or advertise you will need to take a few minutes to register.

Why do I get logged off automatically?

If you do not check the 'Log me in automatically' box when you log in, the website will only keep you logged in for a set amount of time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the site from a shared or public computer.

I've lost my password.

To have your password sent go to the login page and click 'forgotten your password'. Fill in your email address and your password will be sent to you.

I registered but cannot log in.

Check that you are entering the correct username and password. If you were sent an email then follow the instructions; if you did not receive the email then check that your email address is valid. If you are still having problems contact us via the contact us page on the site.

User Preferences and settings

How do I change my personal details?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can change your details within ‘Edit your profile’.

How do I see my saved searches?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can view saved searches within ‘View your saved searches’ section.

How do I set up advert alerts emails that inform me when new adverts are added to the site that match my chosen criteria?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and click on the ‘View your shortlist’ section. Here you can turn on/off alerts for each saved search. When an alert is turned on you will be emailed if an advert matching your criteria is added to the site.

How do I delete advert alerts emails?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and click on the ‘View your shortlist’ section. Here you can turn off alerts for each saved search. When an alert is turned off you will no longer be emailed an alert.

How do I see my saved or shortlisted adverts?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section and you can view saved adverts within ‘View your shortlist’ section.

Advertising

How do I advertise items on the site?

Go to ‘Advertise’ section. Click on the ‘order your advert package’ for private sellers. If you are not registered, you must first register on the site. If you have already registered you must log in and select the appropriate package. Follow the steps to pay securely online. Once paid, you will receive an email receipt and a credit on your account. Go to ‘My Account’ section and you will see a new section called ‘manage your listing/s’. Here you can upload your items for sale. If you are still having problems contact us via the contact us page on the site.

How do I advertise my trade items on the site?

Go to the ‘Advertise’ section and scroll down to the 'Company Advertising' section. Click on the ‘order your advert package’ for trade and contact us. There is no online payment for trade adverts but you can pay on the phone or stage payments over the package duration via invoice.

Is there a limit to the amount of words and images I can upload per advert?

No, you can upload as many words and images as you like. The more descriptive the advert, the better.

If I am having trouble uploading, is there a help guide or tutorial?

Within the ‘Contact Us’ section there is a technical contact available during office hours (9am - 5.30pm - Monday to Friday UK time – excluding bank holidays).

How do I check the enquiries from the site?

When a potential buyer fills out the form at the end of an advert, an email will be sent to you. Also, you can login to your account at any time and see all the enquiries you have had by clicking the ‘View your enquiries’ link.

As a trade advertiser can I have a stock of adverts on the site and then have control of the adverts I would like to show?

Yes. You can upload more than your package allowance and then choose at any time which adverts you wish to show live on the site.

How do I change the details of my advert?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section click on the ‘manage your listing/s’ link. Here you can edit your advert details. Make sure you go through all steps in order to save your changes.

My advert is now sold, how do I remove it from the site?

Once logged in, go to ‘My Account’ section click on the ‘Manage your listing/s’ link. Here you can delete your advert listing.

Private Advert Listings Refund Policy

You may cancel your private advertisement within 48 hours of placing it and we will provide a full refund. If you do wish to cancel your advertisement please e-mail: admin@agricuturaltrader.co.uk.
