It produces ideal cuts for combustion, which size can vary as per how the user wishes to regulate the knives. The GL&D Galaxi M225DT has a force - feeding of product and it is guarantee by 2 rollers a toothed roll with controlled hydraulic and with instant reverse.

This model of GL&D woodchipper the Galaxy M 225 DT is an innovating chipper, designed thanks to a 37-year-experience in the country and forestry sector, and signs the result of all constructive observations made by the sector’s users present in our European distribution network; its unique oversized frame guarantees longevity and reliability and is perfectly adapted for dry and green woods. But as this chipper is multifunctional, it can also work with green and wet woods, in order to deal also with the most extreme needs of the users. It produces optimal wood cuts for combustion, which size can vary as per how the user wishes to regulate the knives.

This model has two Rollers hydraulically activated by independent orbital motors

feed the material in the chipping tools disc; an individual automation guides the upper roller to keep the necessary distance to the cutting knives so that there is no “Dead Zone”; the lower roller is patented “Anti-Obstruction”, and a special knife controls that potential wood scraps do not block rotation while working. This machine version works on a universal 3-point hitch 1st and 2nd Cat.

In-Feed control

(NO-STRESS CONTROL), of ultimate generation, is able to adapt automatically to any kind of power. The security steel bar allows instantaneous stop of the in-feed roller, and commands in-feed inversion.

The hydraulic system is “

independent

”, hence does not need pipe hitching with the tractor.

Possibility to add a special hydraulic kit “VOLUMETRIC”, which controls perfectly the alimentation speed and allows the chipper to produce wood cuts of different sizes, included refined and small.

A FINAL DIMENSIONAL control kit, which allows to perfectly calibrate the final cut material exists, for use in automatic heaters with cochlea device, needing alimentation material of under 6-cm.

Attached 3 chipping tools discs, in order to satisfy the needs of each single user.
