This fantastic Stiga SMT 500 AE cordless multi-tool system (tool only) is part of the Stiga 48v 500 series cordless battery range - a well thought out, money saving solution from Stiga which uses the same battery & charger and can be used for any machine in the cordless 48v series 500 range. Not only will you not need to purchase more than one battery, you will only need to buy one charger - saving you money and space at the same time.
The battery run time for this is Stiga SMT 500 AE cordless multi-tool system is about 18 minutes if you are using the pole pruner, and about 25 minutes if you are using the hedge trimmer. Plenty of time to get your garden looking neat and tidy again.
We believe this is a truly versatile product - thanks in no small part to the extension shaft which makes it a must for anyone with high hedges or trees to prune. The maximum extended length is 2.95m with the hedge trimmer attachment and 2.59m with the pole pruner attachment. Ideal if you need to tackle those awkward out just out of reach areas.
Available with a choice of 3 battery packs, 2.0 Ah, 4.0 Ah & 5.0 Ah. A 2.0 Ah battery (sold separately) is recommended for the SMT 500AE.
Available as a unit only or with a variety of battery kits that include the C415 battery charger.
