The Basics

The Sfoggia Thema VG is a specialist volumetric fertiliser applicator. The VG is available in wide range of configuration options.

Three styles of toolbar frame are available:

Rigid

Manual Folding

Hydraulically folding

Toolbars can be front or rear mounted on the tractor.

The hoppers can be made out of stainless steel or plastic. Both options offer excellent resistance to corrosion. As standard, the hoppers also have a capacity of 930 litres with larger sizes available on request. The land wheels provide drive to the applicator on all models. All metering units are made from a robust plastic. As a result, this further reduces the risk of corrosion.

A micro-granular kit is also available as an option if required. This also allows the VG to be used for granular pesticides if required.

Shoes mounted on spring tines place the fertiliser into the ground between the rows of plants. The VG is available with two to nine outlets. In addition, the shoes are also fully adjustable on the toolbar. As a result this allows a wide range of row widths to be catered for. Another possibly is to also use the VG for the application of fertiliser prior to drilling or planting in some situations. Consequently, this could suit a strip tilling system.

It is also possible to fit row markers to ensure even matching of passes where GPS systems are not being used.
