The Valentini Castore Mulcher is available in the following models:

3200 – 3.2 metre working width

4600 – 4.6 metre working width

5200 – 5.2 metre working width

5700 – 5.7 metre working width

6400 – 6.4 metre working width

All models fold hydraulically to 2.45 metres for transport purposes.

The full Castore range require a 1000rpm input speed from the tractors power take off. Drive is transmitted via a heavy duty central gearbox to each end of the machine. Drive is then provided to the rotor by four vee-belts at either end. The Y pattern flails are arranged helically around the rotor for optimum cutting and shredding. A counter-knife is also fitted as standard.

In addition, a rear roller is fitted. This is also adjustable for height. As an option, it is also possible to fit rear wheels for control of the height.

A tractor with a minimum of between 80hp and 140hp is also recommended dependent on model.
