The Valentini Sioux is a heavy duty fixed tooth belt driven forestry mulcher suitable for tractors of between 150 & 250 horsepower. Working widths of between 1.8 & 2.2 metres are available.

The Valentini Sioux Forestry Mulcher is a medium to heavy duty machine fitted with a fixed tooth drum rotor.

Featuring a single speed gearbox, the Navajo is suitable for use on tractors with between 150 & 250 horsepower and a 1000rpm PTO. Drive is provided to the rotor by side mounted bank of 5 vee-belts at each end. Category 2 three point linkage connection points are also fitted. Between 2 and 4 spool valves are required dependent upon options fitted. A CVT or creeper transmission is also recommended,

For a long lifespan, the frame of the Navajo is made from high strength Domex and Hardox steels. A hydraulically operated rear door is standard fitment on all models. In addition, a hydraulically controlled brush bar can also be fitted.

Thanks to it’s fixed tooth rotor design, the Sioux is able to mulch material up to 40 centimetres in diameter. To protect the drivetrain from damage a shearbolt is fitted to the power take off shaft.
